IGNOU Admission Status Check:
The IGNOU University will confirm your admission after your application verification is done at their end. After applying for IGNOU admission, students need to wait for the SMS and Email from the IGNOU for the confirmation of their admission. IGNOU University will send the confirmation in the form of SMS and Email once they verify the application and the documents of the applicant and found all the information as per their norms.
But the IGNOU University also offer applicants the option to check the status of your application online. IGNOU Admission Confirmation & Regional Centre Information Check:
Once the IGNOU University confirms and approves Students’ application for admission, student can now confirm their Study Centre and Regional Centre. After the confirmation of IGNOU admission, Student can also have to download their ID card that will be needed in a future during the entire course duration. For confirmation of the Regional Centre details and other required details such as your programme code and etc. student need to follow the below steps.
Step 1: Students need to visit the official website of IGNOU Admission at http://ignou. Samarth.edu.in.
Step 2: Login with the details next to enter their profile online.
Step 3: As the student visit their profile, he/she will explore various details such as their program details and also the contact details of their Regional Centre assigned by IGNOU to them.
It is necessary to save the contact details of their respective Regional Centre, so that they can contact them at any time of need during the session.
Checking Study Material Status:
After getting the confirmation about the admission student can start preparing for their course. Students can wait for their study material to be posted by IGNOU or can also start studying online. To start the IGNOU Study online, following are the steps:

Step 2: Students can search for their course in the given list of study materials and books on the page.

If Students are waiting for the physical copies of their study material, then they can check the status of the same in this way.

IGNOU Students need to visit IGNOU website and from there they can visit their Regional Centre website and by filling all the required information about the assignment submission in Student Corner Section they can successfully submit their IGNOU Assignments online on time.
Offline Mode:
Students can visit their Regional Centre with the hard copy of the handwritten assignments and submitted to the authorities available there.
Projects:
There are some subjects in which Students need to submit the projects also. Similar to the assignments students can get the question and guidelines for these project from the official website of IGNOU and can submit these projects in their regional centre in offline mode or online on IGNOU website also.
Exam Form:
In IGNOU University there is a provision of submitting examination form by the students before the deadline of the examinations. In order to prepare for the exams students need to submit the Examination form before exams, which can be fill online on IGNOU website.
Hall Ticket:
Once the IGNOU Students submit their exam form on IGNOU website, they need to start their preparation for exams. They need to complete their syllabus as per IGNOU guidelines and also need to check IGNOU portal time to time for their Hall Ticket for upcoming exams. Term End Theory Exam:

Term End Practical Exam:
IGNOU Students need to appear for practical exams also apart from theory exams. These practical exams will be taken care by IGNOU after the completion of theory exams. The Degree Certificate for the program will be issued to the students once they will submit all their assignments, theoretical and practical exams all together.
Results:
After a few months of the term and examination release the result of different courses and programs of the students. Re-Registration:
After the completion of every semester or a year students will have to complete their Re-registration for the upcoming year or semester in order to continue with their studies for the said course or program that they are pursuing. So if the student is doing a course that has 1 year or more than one year then they need to repeat their registration each year till the time of course is not getting completed. For the process of Re-Registration student need to log into the IGNOU Re-registration portal through the link and then can complete the process ahead.
Convocation and Degree:
IGNOU is conducting a Convocation Program every year to honour their students completed their studies from the IGNOU successfully. This Convocation Program details can be downloaded from the IGNOU website. IGNOU students who have successfully passed their exams and submitted all the assignments and projects can enrol themselves for the Convocation. For this convocation registration students can visit the IGNOU website and can fill all the required details and submit. Students can visit their Regional centres and collect their degree certificate from there. If due to any reason convocation will not going to held in regional centre of the student, they will be notified by the IGNOU about the exact location where it will be going to happen.
In case students are not able to attend their convocation program and also cannot visit their regional centre to collect the IGNOU Degree Certificate, they can apply for the new option in which they will get their Degree Certificate at their home address.
