The NEET results that were announced by the NTA showed 67 students sharing rank one, including six students from the same examination centre in Haryana. The NTA has refused to change its position.

The NTA discharges the filled Optical Imprint Acknowledgment (OMR) sheet, which is the understudy’s response sheet, and the response key, before the statement of the outcomes, giving understudies a fair thought of what their score is.

Candidates who took NEET 2024 have also said that the midterm syllabus revision made the exam process even more confusing and unfair. Students have felt a lot of stress as a result of these issues. The aspirants stated, “We urge the NTA and the Indian Government to take immediate action to address these concerns.”
“Specifically, we request a re-examination to ensure that each student receives an honest and fair evaluation. The honesty and fairness of such crucial examinations are critical to the future of India’s educational system. The letter continued, “We trust that you will take our plea with the seriousness it deserves and take swift action to rectify these issues.”
The NTA has stated in a statement that the exam’s integrity has not been compromised, despite students’ requests for a re-examination. However, it also stated that cases against impersonators had been registered with the NTA, and that “unfair means cases” had been dealt with in accordance with the existing rules, including debarment from future NTA exams and cancellation of candidature.
This year, more than 23 million students took the NEET exam. 13,373 challenges to one Physics question’s provisional answer key were submitted to the NTA. “The subject experts held that two options be taken as correct in place of one option for the question, owing to differences in the old and new editions of the NCERT (National Council of Educational Research and Training) textbook,” the NTA stated.
Six of the 67 candidates who received 720 out of a possible 720 points were awarded compensatory marks for lost time, and 44 of the 720 points were due to this revision in one Physics answer key.
Students’ complaints that their OMR sheet scores did not match their final result scores have not been addressed by the NTA.
