The President of the Tripura Board of Secondary Education, Dr. Dhananjay Gan Choudhury, said the 2025 high school and secondary school examinations are scheduled to begin in February.
Dr. Choudhury said this at a press conference held at the board’s headquarters in Agartala town here on Tuesday afternoon. Dr. Choudhury reviewed the board’s preparations and outlined important deadlines for students and educational institutions.
“More than 23,739 students have registered for the high school examinations, of which 2,152 were candidates in science streams. A total of 33,800 students have registered for secondary schools this year,” said Dr. Choudhury. His comments reflect the growing demand for academic assessments in the state and underscore the board’s expectation of high participation. Dr. Chowdhury also discussed the timing of the practical exams and stressed how important they are for advanced and technical college students. “All practical exams at intermediate and advanced levels shall be completed between November 15 and December 5,” he said.
He asked school principals or their authorized representatives to collect the documents required for these practical exams from the district offices between November 8 and December 12. “We are committed to ensuring a smooth process and timely documentation is key to avoid delays,” he stressed.
Dr. Chowdhury also said all exam answer sheets and related documents must be submitted to the exam board within seven days of the completion of the practical exams. “Meeting these deadlines will help maintain the integrity and efficiency of the examination process,” he added, and asked schools to coordinate closely with the exam board.
This early announcement gives schools and students ample preparation time and highlights the exam board’s commitment to a well-organized and transparent examination process in Tripura.
