RBI invites applications for the post of deputy governor, last date for application is November 30

Candidates with at least 25 years of experience in the administrative field are eligible to apply for this position.

The Reserve Bank of India is accepting applications for the post of Deputy Governor. According to a press release on Monday, the term of office of the candidates will be three years and they will be eligible for re-election. Candidates can check all the information related to this government job and apply on the Reserve Bank’s official website rbi.org.in. According to the Government of India, applications for the post of Deputy Governor in the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) should be submitted by November 30. 

Eligibility Criteria

Age must not exceed 60 years after 15 January 2025. This post is open to candidates with at least 25 years of experience in the administrative field including experience as Secretary or similar position in the Central Government or at least 25 years of experience in a public financial institution in India or abroad. Your application will be rejected if you do not meet the requirements set by RBI for this position.

The salary for this position is Rs.225,000 (Level 17).

It is worth mentioning that the Financial Sector Regulatory Appointments Search Committee (FSRASC) has the power to find and recommend other candidates who have not applied for the post on the basis of their merit. For exceptional individuals, the committee may also suggest relaxation in suitability and experience/qualification requirements.
