- Osteo arthritis: – This is a common disease that occurs with increasing age, which is caused by the wear and tear of cartilages in the joints. In this, usually knees, buttocks, spine are affected, sometimes it also occurs in the fingers.
- Rheumatoid arthritis: – When this disease occurs, pain starts especially in small joints, fingers, wrists, elbows, knees, ankles etc. and they become stiff. Due to swelling in the joints, the cartilages get damaged, along with this, the abnormalities in the muscles and cells make the person disabled. It is more common in women than men.
- Gouty Arthritis:- From time to time, this disease causes a lot of pain in the toes and it is so much that on a slight touch, the patient starts moving his toes to one side. When it becomes old, the bone related to the cartilage starts getting damaged slowly and this leads to disability. 10% of the patients of gout develop stones. It is more common in men.
- Cervical Spondylosis:- In this, the neck bones and the lower part of the waist are affected.
Symptoms of Arthritis:- Pain, swelling and stiffness in the joints, these are usually more visible during the change of seasons. Excessive hair fall.
Reason:- Accumulation of uric acid in the joints is the main reason for this. This disease is more common in those who consume a diet rich in protein. Excessive acidic food, especially all types of meat, fish, egg, excess pulses and milk or milk based food, excess consumption of salt, chili and spices, gas, constipation and lack of exertion and exercise, intake of excess medicines.
Treatment:- To dissolve and expel the uric acid accumulated in the body, one should fast for two-three days on the juice of potassium rich food like cucumber, gourd, cucumber, watermelon, cabbage, spinach, white ash gourd etc. Pineapple, amla, orange and lemon juice can also be taken. After this, for a few weeks, stay on seasonal fruits and salad etc. Take soup of green vegetables. Keep taking juices regularly. Take coconut water. Among fruits, take grapes and custard apple. Take sprouted fenugreek seeds and honey daily. Make dates and sesame laddoos and eat them. Drink ginger and basil juice by adding lukewarm water. Fast weekly on Rasa diet. Abortion is easy. Hot bandage, gum, clay leaf, hot and cold one Yoga Nidra is very good. Light dry massage of joints. Massage with lemon juice and in case of more swelling, apply ice cold water bandage. Mix camphor in coconut or mustard oil and massage the affected part. Stiffness of joints decreases. Take a pinch of turmeric powder with water. Grind four-five leaves of Harsingar and drink it in a glass in the morning and evening for two-three weeks. The disease ends. Do the activity of riding a bicycle with hands and feet.
