GAIL Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria:
Senior Engineer (Renewable Energy): Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in Chemical, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechanical, or related fields with a minimum of 65% marks. They must also have 1 year of post-qualification executive experience in Renewable Energy (Wind/Solar/Green Hydrogen).
Senior Engineer (Boiler Operation): A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical with at least 60% marks, along with a Certificate of Proficiency as a Boiler Operation Engineer, is required. The candidate must have 1 year of post-qualification executive experience in Boiler Operation and Maintenance.
Senior Engineer (Mechanical): Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering with at least 65% marks. They should have 1 year of post-qualification executive experience in project commissioning or maintenance in a relevant plant.
Senior Engineer (Electrical): A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics & Power, or related engineering fields with a minimum of 65% marks is required. The candidate must have 1 year of post-qualification executive experience in project commissioning or maintenance in petrochemical or hydrocarbon process plants.
Senior Engineer (Instrumentation): A Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Electronics & Instrumentation, Electrical & Instrumentation, or related fields with a minimum of 65% marks is required. The candidate should have 1 year of post-qualification executive experience in project commissioning or maintenance in relevant industries.
Senior Engineer (Chemical): A Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Petrochemical, or Chemical Technology with at least 65% marks is required. The candidate must have 1 year of post-qualification executive experience in project commissioning or maintenance in relevant plants.
Senior Engineer (GAILTEL TC/TM): A Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Electrical & Electronics, or related fields with at least 65% marks is required. Candidates must have 1 year of post-qualification executive experience in telecom or telemetry functions.
Senior Officer (Fire & Safety): A Bachelor’s degree in Fire/Safety Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks is required. The candidate must have 1 year of post-qualification executive experience in Fire & Safety functions.
Senior Officer (C&P): A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or related fields with at least 65% marks is required. The candidate must have 1 year of post-qualification executive experience in procurement, contracts, or materials management.
Senior Engineer (Civil): A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 65% marks is required. The candidate must have 1 year of post-qualification executive experience in Civil functions.
Senior Officer (Marketing): A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with at least 65% marks, along with a 2-year MBA specializing in Marketing, Oil & Gas, or related fields, is required. The candidate must have 1 year of post-qualification executive experience in marketing functions.
Senior Officer (F&A): Candidates should have a CA/CMA qualification, or a B.Com with an MBA specializing in Finance (with at least 65% marks). They must have 1 year of post-qualification executive experience in finance or accounts.
Senior Officer (HR): A Bachelor’s degree with at least 60% marks, along with an MBA/MSW in HR/Personnel Management or related fields, is required. The candidate should have 1 year of post-qualification executive experience in HR functions.
Senior Officer (Law): A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks and an LLB degree (3-year or 5-year course) with at least 60% marks is required. The candidate must have 1 year of post-qualification executive experience in legal functions or as an advocate.
Sr. Officer (Medical Services): A valid MBBS degree (recognized by the Medical Council of India) is required, along with 1 year of post-qualification experience as a Medical Officer/Specialist in government or private healthcare organizations.
Senior Officer (Corporate Communication): A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 60% marks and a 2-year Master’s degree or PG Diploma in Communication, Public Relations, or related fields (with at least 65% marks) is required. The candidate must have 1 year of post-qualification executive experience in corporate communication or media functions.
Officer (Laboratory): A Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Chemistry with at least 60% marks is required. Candidates must have 3 years of post-qualification executive experience in a quality control laboratory within the hydrocarbon or chemical industries.
Officer (Security): A Bachelor’s degree with at least 60% marks is required, and preference will be given to candidates with a Diploma in Industrial Security. The candidate must have 3 years of post-qualification executive experience in security functions.
Officer (Official Language): A Master’s degree in Hindi with a minimum of 60% marks, along with a degree or diploma in translation (Hindi-English), is required. The candidate must have 2 years of post-qualification executive experience in translation work and official language functions.

For Senior Engineer / Senior Officer: E-2 Grade, ₹ 60,000 – 1,80,000/-
For Officer: E-1 Grade, ₹ 50,000 – 1,60,000/-

- For Officer (Official Language), the selection process involves a Skill Test (English to Hindi translation) and an Interview.
