Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualifications:
Officer Trainee (Environment Management): Master’s degree in environmental science/ Natural Resource Management/ Environmental Engineering or equivalent with First Class.
Officer Trainee (Social Management): Master’s degree in social work with First Class.
Officer Trainee (Human Resource): Post Graduate Degree/ Diploma/ MBA in HR/ Personnel Management/ Industrial Relations/ Social Work (specializing in Personnel Management & Industrial Relations) with at least 60% marks.
Officer Trainee (PR): Graduate with full-time PG Degree/Diploma in Mass Communication/ Public Relations/ Journalism with 60% marks.
Other Qualification:
Valid Score in the UGC NET-December 2024 Corresponding Paper (Labour Welfare/ Personnel Management/ Industrial Relations/ Labour and Social Welfare/ Human Resource Management paper, Environment Science, Social Work, Mass Communication & Journalism).
Application Fee:
- ₹ 500/- for General / OBC Category Candidates.
- No fee for SC/ ST/ PwBD/ Ex-SM/ DESM Category Candidates.
- The fee should be made through Online Payment Mode (Credit Card / Debit Card / UPI / Wallets / Net Banking etc.)
Age Limit:
Maximum 28 years as on 24th December 2024.
The Upper age relaxation – 03 years for OBC (NCL), 05 years for SC / ST and 10 years for PwBD.
Selection Process:
The PowerGrid Officer Trainee selection on the basis of following steps:-
- Shortlisting on the basis of marks obtained in the corresponding paper of UGC-NET – December 2024.
- Document Verification.
- Behavioral Assessment.
- Group Discussion.
- Personal Interview & Pre-Employment Medical Examination.
Monthly Salary (Pay Scale):
Basic Pay of ₹ 40,000/- along with IDA, HRA and perks @12% of basic pay during training period.
On successful completion of training and upon regularization, the candidate will be absorbed as Officer in E2 scale – ₹ 50,000/- 3%- 1,60,000/- (IDA).
