UPSC CDS 1 2025 Notification Out against 457 Vacancies against Examination Notification No.04 / 2025.CDS-I: The UPSC Combined Defence Services Examination (I), 2025 will be conducted by the Union Public Service Commission on 13th April 2025 for admission to Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy, Air Force Academy, Officers Training Academy Courses. The last date for registration of online applications is 31st December 2024.

UPSC CDS 2025 Centres of Examination: 

Agartala, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bareilly, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Delhi, Dharwad, Dispur, Gangtok, Hyderabad, Imphal, Aizawl, Allahabad, Itanagar, Jaipur, Jammu, Jorhat, Kochi, Madurai, Patna, Port Blair, Raipur, Ranchi, Sambalpur, Kohima, Kolkata, Lucknow, Shillong, Shimla, Srinagar, Thiruvananthapuram, Tirupati, Udaipur and Visakhapatnam, Chennai, Cuttack, Dehradun, Mumbai, Nagpur, Panaji (Goa).

UPSC CDS 2025 Educational Qualifications:

• For Indian Naval Academy: Degree in Engineering from a recognized University/ Institution.
• For Air Force Academy: Degree of a recognized University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering.
• For Indian Military Academy and Officers’ Training Academy: Bachelor’s Degree of a recognized University or equivalent.

UPSC CDS 2025 Age Limit, Gender and Marital Status:

• For IMA: Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd January, 2002 and not later than 1st January 2007 only are eligible.
• For Officers’ Training Academy (SSC Women Non-Technical Course): Unmarried women, issueless widows who have not remarried and issueless divorcees (in possession of divorce documents) who have not remarried are eligible. They should have been born not earlier than 2nd January, 2001 and not later than 1st January, 2007
• For Air Force Academy: 20 to 24 years as on 1st January 2026 i.e. born not earlier than 2nd January 2002 and not later than 1st January 2006 (Upper age limit for candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot Licence issued by DGCA (India) is relaxable upto 26 yrs. i.e. born not earlier than 2nd January 2000 and not later than 1st January 2006 only are eligible.
• For Officers’ Training Academy (SSC Course for men): Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd January 2001 and not later than 1st January, 2007 only are eligible.
• For Indian Naval Academy: Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd January 2002 and not later than 1st January 2007 only are eligible.

UPSC CDS 2025 Selection Process:

• Interview / Personality Test.
• Competitive Written Examination (OMR Sheet).

UPSC CDS 2025 Application Fee:

• The fee can be made either by Pay by Cash mode OR Online Payment mode.
• ₹ 200/- for General and OBC Candidates.
• No fee for Female/ SC/ ST candidates.

How To Apply UPSC CDS 2025:

• The Candidates must apply online through the website upsconline.nic.in. Applicants need to first register on the One Time Registration (OTR) platform, available on the Commission’s website. The OTR process only needs to be completed once in a lifetime. After registering, candidates can proceed to fill out the online application for the examination.
• After OTR registration, the candidates can apply for UPSC NDA NA Exam.
• The candidates to register himself/ herself first at One Time Registration (OTR) platform.
• The last date for submission of online applications is 31/12/2024 till 6:00 PM.
