AESRB Vacancy Notification 2025 for selection of 343 Various Posts: The Assam Engineering Service Recruitment Board (AESRB), Guwahati invites online applications from the permanent residents of Assam for recruitment of Lecturer (Technical), Lecturer (Non-Technical), Senior Instructor and Librarian positions in various departments, Government of Assam. The closing date for registration of online applications is 20th January 2025.

AESRB Recruitment 2025 – 343 Vacancies

Eligibility Criteria:

a. Senior Instructor:

• 03 years Diploma in the appropriate branch of Engineering/ Technology/ Textile/ Architecture from AICTE recognized Institutes with First Class or 60% of marks.

b. Lecturer (Technical):

• Level 10: Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in relevant disciplines with First Class in either of the two at the time of application.
• Level 9A: B.E./B. Tech./B.S. (4-year Degree course) in relevant discipline with First Class or equivalent.

c. Librarian:

• Qualifying in the National Level Test conducted for the purpose by UGC or other equivalent test as approved by the UGC.
• Master’s Degree in Library Science/ Information Science/ Documentation Science or an Equivalent Professional Degree with at least First Class or equivalent and a consistently good academic record with knowledge of computerization of library.

d. Lecturer (Non-Technical):

• Level 10-A: Master’s degree with First Class or equivalent in a relevant subject and must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC, like SLET/SET.
• Level 9A: Master’s degree in appropriate subject with First class or equivalent at Bachelor’s or Master’s level.

Selection Process:

The Assam AESRB Vacancy 2025 selection on the basis of following steps:-

• Teaching / Skill Proficiency Test – 25 Marks
• Documents Verification
• OMR-MCQ based Written Examination – 75 Marks

Age Limit:

• Senior Instructor: 21 to 40 years
• Librarian: 21 to 38 years
• Lecturer: 21 to 38 years
• Upper Age Relaxation: 05 years for SC/STP/STH, 03 years for OBC/ MOBC, 10 years for PwBD.

Application Fee:

• The fee should be made through Online Payment Mode.
• Rs.150/- for OBC Category Candidates.
• Rs.250/- for General Category Candidates.
• No fee for SC and ST Category Candidates.

Monthly Salary (Pay Scale):

• Librarian: Level – 9A ₹ 56,100 – 1,77,500/- plus other allowances as admissible under Rules.
• Lecturer: Level – 9A ₹ 56,100 – 1,77,500/- / Level 10 ₹ 57,700 – 1,82,400/- plus other allowances as admissible under Rules.
  Senior Instructor: ₹ 14,000 – 60,500/- + Grade Pay ₹ 8700/- plus other allowances as admissible under Rules.
