The Meghalaya Cooperative Apex Bank Limited (MCAB), Shillong, a premier Scheduled Bank in Meghalaya invites online applications from eligible Indian National candidates for recruitment of Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS), Banking Assistant cum Cashier and Accountant-cum-Head Cashier positions. The last date for submission of online application is 15th January 2025.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Bank Assistant-cum-Cashier / Accountant-cum-Head Cashier: Graduate in any discipline with minimum of 55% marks. The Bank operates in a fully computerized environment with all branches on a core banking platform.
• Essential skills include working knowledge of computers, such as using spreadsheets, word processing, and email.
• A certificate or diploma in computer skills is preferred.
• Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS): Minimum VIII Standard (8th Class) Passed. Matric Candidates can also apply.

Application Fee:

Age Limit: (As on 15/01/2025)

• Minimum age – 21 years (18 years for MTS).
• Maximum age – 30 years.
• The Upper Age relaxation – as per rules.

Selection Process:

• Interview: Conducted for candidates who perform well in the written test.
• Written Test: Covers General Knowledge, Reasoning Ability, and Quantitative Aptitude.

Monthly Salary (Pay Scale):

• Accountant-cum-Head Cashier: Grade 3A (I) Scale.
• Multi-Tasking Staff: Grade 4 (3) Scale.
• Bank Assistant-cum-Cashier – II: Grade 3 (B) 2 Scale.
