RRB Teachers Eligibility Criteria:
Primary Railway Teachers / Primary Teachers:
- Competency in teaching in Hindi and English or concerned medium
- 12th Class Pass with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (or 45% for specific cases) (OR) 12th Class Pass with at least 50% marks and a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) (OR) 12th Class Pass with at least 50% marks and a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) (OR) Graduation with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (OR) Graduation with at least 50% marks and a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) (OR) Post-Graduation with at least 55% marks and a 3-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed.
- Pass in Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) to be conducted by appropriate Government.
Trained Graduate Teachers:
- Degree or Post Graduate or 12th Pass with Diploma in concerned discipline / subjects.
- Proficiency in teaching in concerned mediums.
Post Graduate Teachers:
- Proficiency in teaching in Hindi / English / Bengali mediums.
- Master or equivalent degree from recognized University.
- B.Ed. or equivalent degree from recognized University.
Music Teachers:
- B.A. Degree with Music, as one of the subject (OR) 12th or its equivalent examination with concerned Music examination passed.
Physical Training Instructor (PTI):
- Competency in imparting Physical Education in English medium.
- Graduate with Bachelors in Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) or its equivalent.
