Supreme Court of India (SCI) Recruitment Cell has published employment notification for engagement of 90 Law Clerk cum Research Associate positions on contractual assignment basis for the assignment term 2025-2026. Eligible Law Graduate Candidates fill Online Application Form from 14th January to 7th February 2025.

SCI Law Clerk Eligibility Criteria:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (B.L.) or equivalent (including Integrated Degree Course in Law) from any School/College/University/Institution established by law in India and recognized by the Bar Council of India for enrolment as an Advocate.
• (3) The candidate must possess research and analytical skills, strong writing abilities, and proficiency in using computers to retrieve information from search engines and databases like e-SCR, Manupatra, SCC Online, LexisNexis, and Westlaw.
• The candidate studying in the 5th year of the 05 years Integrated Law Course or the 3rd year of the 03 years Law Course after graduation in any stream will also be eligible to apply.

SCI Law Clerk Age Limit:

• Minimum 20 years.
• Maximum 32 years as on 7th February 2025.
• The Age relaxation as per Government rules.

SCI Law Clerk Selection Process:

The SCI Law Clerk selection process shall be conducted in three phases:-

• Part I – Multiple Choice Based Questions, testing the candidates’ ability to understand and apply the law, and comprehension skills;
• Part II – Subjective Written Examination, covering writing and analytical skills;
• Part III – Interview.

SCI Law Clerk Application Fee

• The fee shall be paid online through Payment Gateway provided by UCO Bank.
• ₹ 500/- plus bank charges.

SCI Law Clerk Salary

• The SCI Law Clerk cum Research Associates monthly salary as ₹ 80,000/- per month

• Opening date for online registration of application: 14/01/2025.
• Last date for paying Application Fee: 07/02/2025.
• Closing date for online registration of application: 07/02/2025.
• Tentative date of Written Examination: 09/03/2025.
