NEET PG 2024: The computer-based test (CBT) mode will be used for the exam.On June 23, the National Eligibility-cum Entrance Test-Postgraduate (NEET-PG) will be administered. In a computer-based test (CBT) format, the exam will be given nationwide at over 1,000 test centres in approximately 300 test cities from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. In 6,102 government, private, and deemed/central universities, approximately 26,168 Doctor of Medicine (MD), 13,649 Master of Surgery (MS), and 922 PG Diploma seats are offered.

PG NEET 2024: Exam example

The Exam comprises of 200 numerous decision questions, each with four reaction choices in English. From the options presented, candidates must select the best, most appropriate, or correct response. The exam lasts three hours and thirty minutes.

A correct response gets you four points, while an incorrect response gets you one point less. Unanswered questions do not result in a grade reduction.

2024 NEET-PG: Time Allotment

• The test centre opens for registration at 7 a.m.

• Entry to the examination centre closes at 8.30 a.m.

• Candidate login access begins at 8.45 a.m.

• Instructions reading begins at 8.50 a.m.

• The exam begins at 9 a.m.

• The exam concludes at 12.30 p.m.

Time slots will be allocated in staggered order to avoid crowding. In order to allow for security checks, identity verification, and check-in, the reporting counter will close 30 minutes prior to the start of the test.

Required Reports For Exam Centre:

• One of the following original and valid (non-expired) government-issued photo IDs: PAN Card, Driving, License, Voter ID, Passport, or Aadhaar Card (with photograph)

• If using an e-Aadhaar Card as proof of identity, it must be a high-quality colour printout with a clear photograph matching the candidate.

The examination facility will not be accessible to candidates who do not possess a valid ID. If the name on the admit card and the photo ID don’t match, you won’t be allowed in.

Items Prohibited:

The following items are prohibited for candidates to bring beyond the security checkpoint:

• Printed or written text, notes, plastic pouches, calculators, pens, writing pads, pen drives, and erasers are examples of stationary.

• Electronic gadgets like cell phones, Bluetooth gadgets, headphones, amplifiers, pagers, wrist watches/wellbeing groups, mini-computers, electronic pens/scanners, and so forth.

• Adornments and decorations, for example, wristbands, rings, studs, nose pins, chains/accessories, pendants, identifications, ornaments, and so on.

• Different things like wallets, goggles, satchels, belts, covers, and so on.

• Any food or beverage, including food items that have been opened or packed, soft drinks, and water bottles.
