CBSE announced subject-wise marks distribution for Class 10, 12 Board Exams 2025

CBSE Board Exam 2025: For the 2025 board exams for Class 10 and Class 12, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the subject-wise distribution of marks. These details are available at cbse.gov.in for students preparing for the final exams.

The CBSE has announced the subject-by-subject distribution of marks for the Class 10, 12 and board exams in 2025. The board has also stated that the practical and internal assessments for the Class 10, 12 and board exams will begin on January 5, 2025, and the theory exams will begin on February 15, 2025.

Winter-bound schools, the CBSE practical exams are scheduled to begin on January 1 for winter-bound schools, and internal assessments will take place between November 5 and December 5, 2024.

The release of subject-specific date sheets for theory papers is anticipated in December.

In 2025, approximately 44 lakh candidates will sit for the CBSE Class 10 board exams at 8,000 schools in the Country and abroad. To be eligible for the board exams, students must maintain a 75% attendance rate.

The board recently stated, “The Board offers a 25% relaxation only in cases of exigencies such as participation in national or international sports events, medical emergencies, and other serious reasons, provided the necessary documentation is submitted.”
