The Government of Tripura, through the Tripura Public Service Commission (TPSC) located in Agartala, is inviting online applications from genuine Indian citizens for the recruitment of Assistant Professor Positions, classified as Group A Gazetted, within the Education (Higher) Department of the Government of Tripura. The online registration for the TPSC Assistant Professor 2025 will commence on 11th February 2025 and will conclude on 7th March 2025.

Educational Qualifications:
- The candidates should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC or CSIR or similar test (OR) Ph.D. Degree.
- A Master’s Degree in relevant / concerned / allied discipline or subject with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade.
Age Limit:
- Age relaxation 05 years for SC / ST / PH.
- Maximum 40 years as on 7th March 2025.
Application Fee:
- The fee can be made through online payment mode.
- Rs.500/- for ST / SC / BPL Card Holders / Physically Handicapped candidates.
- Rs.400/- for General candidates.
Pay Scale:
- Rs.57,700 – 1,82,400/- in Academic Level 10 of the Pay matrix of 7th CPC.
Selection Process:
The TPSC Assistant Professor Recruitment process will comprise of following steps:-
- Total Marks allotted for preparation of final merit list – 100 Marks
- Screening by API Score – 100 Marks
- Interview / Personality Test – 15 Marks

How to Apply:
- Eligible Candidates should apply online through TPSC Online Application Portal from 11/02/2025.
- Once the applicant registers his/her particulars, a User ID is generated and sent to his/her registered mobile number and email ID.
- The candidate shall register his/her bio-data particulars through One Time Profile Registration (OTPR) on the commission’s website.
- The last date for registration of online applications is 07/03/2025.
