The Punjab Police has issued a recruitment notification for the position of Police Constable within the District and Armed Cadre for the year 2025. Online applications are invited from qualified Indian citizens for the direct recruitment of Constables to fill 1,261 vacancies in the District Police Cadre and 485 vacancies in the Armed Police Cadre. Interested and eligible individuals may submit their applications online until March 13, 2025.

Eligibility Criteria:
- In case of Ex-servicemen, the minimum educational qualification shall be Matriculation.
- Matriculation with 12th class Pass or its equivalent qualification from a recognized education board / university.
Age Limit:
- Minimum 18 years and Maximum 28 years as on 1st January 2025.
- The Age relaxation as per Government rules.
Monthly Salary:
- 19,900/- per month for 03 years from the date of joining in service.
Application Fee:
- The fee should be made through online payment mode
- Rs.1200/- for General.
- Rs.500/- for Ex-Servicemen of Punjab State Only.
- Rs.700/- for SC / ST of all States and BC of Punjab State Only.
- Rs.700/- for EWS.
