The Board of Apprenticeship Training, Southern Region (BOAT-SR), associated with Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) in Tiruchirappalli (Trichy), has announced a vacancy notification for the recruitment of Trade, Graduate, and Diploma Apprentices for the year 2024-2025. Qualified Graduate and Diploma Engineers are invited to submit their applications online for the BHEL Apprentice positions available across various disciplines, in accordance with the Apprentices (Amendment) Act of 1973. The deadline for the submission of online applications is set for 19th February 2025.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Graduate Apprentice: A regular full-time graduate in the advertised disciplines with 60% marks for General/OBC/PwD/EWS and 50% for SC/ST candidates.
- Diploma Apprentice: A regular full-time diploma holder in the advertised disciplines with 60% marks for General/OBC/EWS and 50% for SC/ST candidates.
- Trade Apprentice: High School Pass + ITI Pass.
- Year of Passing: Candidates who completed their ITI or Diploma or Graduation in 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 & 2024 will only be eligible.
Age Limit:
- Age Relaxation – 05 years for SC / ST, 03 years for OBC (NCL) and 10 years for PWBD.
- Minimum– 18 years and Maximum 27 years as on 01/02/2025.
Salary:
- Graduate Apprentice: Rs.9000/- per month.
- Trade Apprentice: Rs.7700 – Rs.8050/- per month.
- Technician Apprentice: Rs.8000/- per month.

Selection Process:
- Merit List will be drawn based on the Marks secured in the qualifying examination.

- Eligible candidates (Diploma / Graduate) are required to enroll as a Student in Apprenticeship portal (NATS Portal) / For ITI Candidates are first required to register in RDSDE (NAPS) Portal.
- The candidates must upload scanned copy of required documents.
- After completing registration in Apprenticeship / NATS portal. The candidate have to apply online in BHEL Trichy Portal.
