Eligibility Criteria:

Junior Stenographer:

• Proficiency in Stenography as per prescribed norms fixed by DOPT from time to time (Dictation at the speed of 80 w.p.m. for 10 minutes in English / Hindi).
• Minimum 10+2 / Matric + 12th Class Pass or its equivalent.

Junior Secretariat Assistant:

• Proficiency in Computer Typing Speed of 35 w.p.m in English or 30 w.p.m in Hindi.
• Minimum 10+2 / Matric + 12th Class Pass or its equivalent.

Pay Scale:

• Junior Stenographer: Pay Level- 4, Rs.25500-81100/-
• Junior Secretariat Assistant: Pay Level-2, Rs.19900 – 63200/-

Age Limit: (As on 21/04/2025)

• Junior Stenographer: 27 years
• Junior Secretariat Assistant: 28 years

Application Fee:

• The fee in the form of Demand Draft drawn on any nationalized bank and valid for at least 3 months in favour of “Director, CSIR-NEIST, Jorhat” payable at Jorhat.
• Rs.500/- for General / OBC / EWS Category Candidates.
• No fee for SC / ST / PwBD / ESM / Women / CSIR Employees Category Candidates.
