Indian Navy SSC Officer Selection Process:
Candidates selected in the final merit list will be required to submit proof of completing the qualifying degree with a minimum of 60% marks by sending an email to the address officer@navy.gov.in. Candidates failing to meet this criteria will not be permitted to join the Academy.
For BE/B.Tech candidates who have completed or are in the final year of their BE/ B.Tech, marks obtained up to the fifth semester will be considered for SSB shortlisting.
Shortlisted candidates will be informed about their selection for the SSB interview through email or SMS (provided by candidates in their application form).
Shortlisting of applications will be based on the normalized marks obtained by the candidates in their qualifying degree. Marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying degree will be normalized using the formulas mentioned on the Join Indian Navy website.
For candidates who have completed MSc, MCA, MBA, or M.Tech, marks obtained in all semesters will be considered. For candidates who are in the final year, shortlisting will be based on their pre-final year performance.
