Indian Navy SSR Medical Assistant 2025: The Indian Navy invites online applications from unmarried male candidates who meet the eligibility requirements for the role of sailors in the Medical Branch, particularly for the SSR (Medical Assistant) position under INET-SSR (Medical) 02/2025 and SSR (Medical) 02/2026. The registration window will be open from March 29 to April 10, 2025.

Indian Navy SSR Medical Assistant Eligibility Criteria:
- Year of Passing: Applicants who have completed their ITI in or after 2021 are eligible to apply. Dependents of regular employees (serving, retired, or deceased) will receive an additional 3-year relaxation on the year of ITI completion.
- Only those who have completed ITI through the National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT) are eligible to apply for apprenticeship.
- Candidates must have passed Matric/SSC and ITI as full-time students, with a minimum of 60% marks in ITI for General/EWS/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) and 55% for SC/ST candidates.
Indian Navy SSR Medical Assistant Salary:
- During the initial training period, candidates will receive a monthly stipend of Rs.14600/.
- Upon successful completion of the training, they will be assigned to Level 3 of the Defence Pay Matrix, with a salary range of Rs.21700 to Rs.69100.
- Additionally, they will receive a monthly Military Service Pay (MSP) of Rs.5200, along with any applicable Dearness Allowance (DA).

- The fee payment made through online payment mode using Visa/ Master/ RuPay Credit/ Debit Card/ UPI.
- Rs.500/- + 18% GST for all candidates.

- Written Test – (English, Science, Biology and General Awareness/ Reasoning Ability) of 25 marks each.

- Physical Fitness Test (PFT) – 1.6 KM Run, Squats (Uthak Baithak), Push-ups, Bent Knee Sit-ups.
