These positions are available in both Technical and Non-Technical Trades across its five regional locations: Eastern Region Pipelines (ERPL), Western Region Pipelines (WRPL), Northern Region Pipelines (NRPL), Southern Region Pipelines (SRPL), and South Eastern Region Pipelines (SERPL). Selection will be conducted based on a Merit list, with no requirement for a Written Test or Personal Interview.

IOCL Pipeline Division Apprentice Eligibility Criteria:
- Trade Apprentice (Assistant-Human Resource): Full Time Bachelor degree (Graduation).
- Technician Apprentice (Mechanical): 03 years full time Diploma in any of the following disciplines of Engineering: i) Mechanical Engineering, ii) Automobile Engineering.
- Technician Apprentice (Electrical): 03 years full time Diploma in any of the following disciplines of Engineering: i) Electrical Engineering, ii) Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
- Domestic Data Entry Operator (Skill Certificate Holders): Minimum Matric + 12th Pass (but below Graduate).
- Technician Apprentice (Telecommunication & Instrumentation): 03 years full time Diploma in any of the following disciplines of Engineering:
i) Electronics & Communication Engineering,
ii) Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering,
iii) Electronics & Radio Communication Engineering,
iv) Instrumentation & Control Engineering,
v) Instrumentation & Process Control Engineering,

- Trade Apprentice (Accountant): Full Time Bachelor degree (Graduation) in Commerce.
