TN MRB AMO Eligibility Criteria:
Assistant Medical Officer (Ayurveda):
- Must have registered his / her name with the Central Board of Indian Medicine /
Tamil Nadu Board of Indian Medicine, Chennai. - HPIM (Ayurveda) or GCIM (Ayurveda) or L.I.M. (Ayurveda) or a degree in B.A.M.S.
Assistant Medical Officer (Unani):
- BUM&S or other equivalent degree.
- The holders of which are eligible for registration under Class “A“ special or class’s “A” the Tamil Nadu Board of Indian Medicine, Madras.
Assistant Medical Officer (Siddha):
- Must have registered his / her name with the Central Board of Indian Medicine / Tamil Nadu Siddha Medical Council, Chennai.
- HPIM. (Siddha) or GCIM (Siddha) or MD (Siddha) or B.I.M (Siddha) or L.I.M (Siddha) or a degree in B.S.M.S.
TN MRB AMO Selection Process:
- Computer Based Examination (CBT)
- Tamil language Eligibility Test (SSLC Standard)
TN MRB AMO Maximum Age: (As on 01/07/2025)
- For SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBC&DCs, BCs, BCMs – 59 Years.
- For Ex-Servicemen-50.
- For all others- 37 Years.
TN MRB AMO Application Fee:
- The fee should be made through Online Payment Mode.
- Rs.1000/- for General / OBC Category Candidates.
- Rs.500/- for SC / SCA / ST / DAP (PH) Category Candidates.
